UK F1 2025

A leisurely morning. The UK Pipe Band Championship didn't really start until after 10:00 AM. We decided to take the tram to Inglston Park and Ride. Then a walk to the North entrance since the East entrance was closed. There were pipes and drums everywhere. We went towards Arena 2. Gwyn found a table under an umbrella, and Lilian, Paul, and Patsy were sitting there. We chatted with them and watched and listened for a couple of hours. Lunch was a chicken sandwich and chips which were pretty good. Gwyn bought Lilian a donut since she had been talking about them. There was some shopping and a bit more pipes and drums. We left mid afternoon.

When we got off of the tram we headed back to a market down on Princes Street. And some Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I bought some artwork from one of the vendors at the street market. Music was coming up from the Princes Street Gardens so we walked down. A group was performing modern Christian music and worship.

Back to the Destiny, and then we decided on M & S for supper and breakfast. Cooked supper and was in bed about 8:30.
