July 8 - London

The boys head back to London

Andy and I went over to the Caffè Nero again after breakfast. Then back to the hotel, finished packing, and got the bus back to London. We were dropped off at Heathrow Terminal 3, and we then took the Elizabeth line to Farringdon, then the train for three stops. Andy tried to get an Uber, but it was going to be quicker to walk to the hotel.

Gwyn was waiting for us in the lobby. It was really good to see her again. I dropped my bags at the hotel, and we walked to Tower Bridge. Got a bite to eat at the Pret a Manger. Then we sat at the Coppa Club, Tower for a bit and Gwyn had a margarita. Over to the Tower Millennium Pier for our Afternoon Tea River Cruise on the Thames. They brought the bites over on nice serving towers, and Gwyn's was gluten-free. A beautiful day on the Thames. As we started back we popped into the Pret for yogurts, and then went into the Starbucks. They had Gwyn's gluten free snacks, and I picked up a raspberry coconut loaf for breakfast. Walked over to the London Wall, which is from the Roman times.

Headed back to the Locke. Gwyn started laundry, and we watched some tennis, Outlander, and Derry Girls.
